Crumbl Cookies, a solid dessert option in Applewood
A review of Crumbl in Applewood, Mississauga, one of the many dessert options.

Walking into Crumbl feels a bit like stepping into a bakery-meets-laboratory. The open kitchen is buzzing with activity, and the scent of fresh-baked cookies is overwhelming in the best way. Of course, the first thing you’ll notice—aside from the line—is the famous pink box. Sleek, minimalist, and unmistakable, it’s a perfect fit for Crumbl’s Instagram-ready brand.
The cookies themselves? They’re massive. One alone could pass as a full dessert for two, though most of us will probably attempt to finish one solo. (Crumbl sells a cookie cutter that turns one c0okie into four.) The menu rotates weekly, so flavours range from nostalgia-packed (think Birthday Cake or Churro) to surprisingly gourmet (Lavender Honey, anyone?). But, don’t worry, the menu always has one classic mainstay: either a Milk Chocolate Chip or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chip.
We tried a mix, including both of the classics, last week’s Biscoff Lava Cookie, and this week’s Churro Toffee White Chip—every single one was indulgent. Each bite is soft and thick, with a texture somewhere between a traditional cookie and a cake-like brownie. They lean heavy on the butter and sugar, which makes them dangerously addictive but also means one is more than enough for the day.
Are they worth it? If you love soft, oversized cookies and don’t mind a bit of sugar overload, absolutely. They’re a fun treat, and the weekly flavour rotation keeps things exciting. That said, at around $6 per cookie, they’re a splurge—not your everyday snack, but a great indulgence or gift.
Would we go back? Probably, but maybe not every week. These cookies are an experience—decadent, over-the-top, and almost too much…but in the best way.
